White plastic is hot these days in men’s accessories, a trend we can’t help but attribute to our buddy Kanye West. Big white watches from Casio and ToyWatch have been by Kanye’s side for a while now, but with Super Sunglasses’ New York Classics in white, we are about to enter a whole new realm of urban-funk chic. 

UNIQUENESS

Super Sunglasses weren’t happy just being the “it” brand of young Hollywood; they went ahead and designed something really unique with the New York Classics model. Covering the flat front frames is a raised black pattern. It has taken the white trend of sunglasses and added a new level of individuality to it. These glasses are not for everyone, but for those with enough style to pull them off, we can guarantee a lot of face time for these Supers.

DURABILITY

All Super Sunglasses are made of high grade Italian acetate. In fact, Super claims to have started the colored acetate trend. As with most contemporary fashion trends, Supers first hit the streets in Milan and, while the rest of the world catches up, they seem to have already moved on. The design of the New York Classics may be cool in Hollywood right now, but we’re not so sure we’ll think the same 12 months from now. One very positive attribute about all Supers is that they use legendary Zeiss lenses, adding a sense of tradition and value to an otherwise purely trend-driven set of shades.
