UNIQUENESS

Those plastic collar tabs that came with your shirts are fine in a pinch, but given the opportunity to upgrade to these tabs from Hackett, you’ll not only have a better collar line but you’ll also actually be able to call them by their namesake -- collar bones. Then again, you could just keep using those store inserts until thedry cleaner melts them into their collar pockets.

DURABILITY

These Hackett collar tabs are 100% bone and are far more sturdy and durable than the cheap plastic versions -- as well as being classic "Brit Chic" all the way. However, you'll be better off taking them out before cleaning the shirt. The other alternative is to use metal collar tabs, but these often singe the shirt fabric under extreme heat or leave stains if submerged in a washer. These bone tabs from Hackett will do no such thing, are affordable, and are a wise choice overall.
