THE ASKMEN TAKE
UNIQUENESS
This isn’t the typical cap you see on men today, which makes it unique. Look at a photo of young man in New York in the early 1920s and you’ll see this on nearly every young gent heading to work on the docks or packing plants. And the Ali Cap is a way better-looking than those hometown baseball caps men love so much (when will you guys learn?), and it is worth the ribbing from your pals to plant this one on your head before heading out. But be careful, you might have to tuck in your shirt and wear leather shoes instead of those beat-up running shoes you never seem to run in.
71 DURABILITY
In all honesty, it will take a strong man who is secure with himself to pull off this hat. Men’s clothes have shifted away from hats -- other than on the athletic front -- ever since JFK was last American president to wear a hat to the Oval Office. So, if you think you can do it, give it a try, but be fully prepared to spend the bucks on awardrobe to match this unique head-topper. And if there is one place you can wear it without getting funny looks, it’s definitely your local golf course.
