Herbal Hair Care Treatment With Menhdi

Henna is mostly used for its dyeing effect on hair. Henna renders a magnificent reddish brown color to dark hair. However, not many people are aware of its properties in treating hair loss and promoting hair growth. The reason why henna is effective in promoting hair growth is that, it can blend well with the natural proteins in hair, thereby stimulating hair growth.

Benefits of Henna For Hair

Henna is a natural remedy against hair loss. It is also of great use in maintaining healthy hair. Henna repairs and seals the cuticle, thus helps in healing hair shaft. This prevents the hair breakage and also retains the shine of hair.
Henna balances the pH of the scalp, thus, preventing premature hair fall. Henna cures most scalp problems such as dandruff, dryness etc. It also reverses the effects of pollution on hair as well as dryness due to excessive blow drying. Additionally, henna also stops premature graying of hair.

Hair Treatment With Henna

Henna hair treatment has been gaining popularity all over the world in recent years, and even today its popularity continues to grow. The craze for all things natural is widespread, and a hair care product like henna fits right into this craze. Fortunately, henna does in fact have many side effects, as long as you are using authentic henna, and not one of the many synthetic substitutes available, many of which are quite dangerous.
Products such as black henna and neutral henna are not really henna, but are prepared from other dyes. Many of these products, particularly black henna contain harsh chemicals that could have disastrous effects. These products are usually used for temporary tattoos and other body art, and not for hair care. However, it is good to be aware of this and avoid making costly mistakes.

How To Use Henna For Hair

Always use protective plastic gloves always, as the color will discolor your hands. The paste will also discolor your clothing, towels etc., so take necessary precautions. Permit the henna paste to settle on your hair for at least couple of hours. The duration of time necessary for coloring is dependent upon your hair type. If your hair gets the color very fast, it will be colored in about 40 minutes.
If your hair is opposed to the color, it could take the 8 hours. When the paste has been on your hair for the required length of time, rinse it carefully. Rinse until the water is clear. Then rinse again and again to gat the shiny look of your henna colored hair.
Henna can be mixed with asparagus, basil or other herbs for hair growth. Henna for hair growth is a natural and completely safe way of acquiring beautiful hair. Applying henna on hair can be a messy and time consuming job. However, you have an option of using commercially available henna products, but then you will have to compromise on its effective. Henna tends to lose its nourishing properties upon processing.
