7 ways not to lose your personality

Most girls possess a natural beauty and attraction that they simply don’t know how to emphasize. Overusing makeup helps them feel confident about themselves and keeps them from feeling like nobody will date them or whatever. Oftentimes they use too much makeup, forgetting about their natural beauty and personality. And in better cases they make themselves look like Lady Gaga. But the reality of Lady Gaga is that she is a pop star… would anyone like to have such a wife or girlfriend? Nevertheless this is her personality and others try to copy it without taking the time to discover their own.

To discover your own personality is much more difficult than to copy a runway model or an on-stage Diva. But at the same time you have an incredible individual ego and your style sleeping within. It does exist and when allowed to be expressed openly you true beauty will be far greater than that of the painted-on makeup in the style of Lady Gaga. Mother Nature’s plan was to award everyone with their individual charm. You can visit stylists; psychologists etc to find yourself but no one can help you find yourself other than you.

Here are 5 ways people lie to themselves and lose their personality. Read them carefully and do the opposite, it will help you a great deal!

So here are most common steps to lose yourself and your own style.

Change stylists regularly. A stylist should be a marketer for their client. There is no doubt that he or she will tell you to change your hairdo just because the previous on made this hairdo, even though the previous hairdo and color matched your natural colors and face type perfectly. Sometimes experiments are good but sometimes they transform beautiful work into a tragic hairdo.

Face Make-Over. Using heavy makeup will ruin your complexion. So much so that even skin masks will not help solve this problem. Young girls oftentimes use too much makeup, resulting in them looking 40 in their 30’s. If there is a party and you are about to shine on the dance floor then you can use perfect star makeup. Otherwise you should use only natural colors fitting your season type.

Copy someone’s personality. Try not to imitate or copy the behavior of anyone else, especially voice, gestures or mannerisms. The stars themselves work on their own natural mannerisms and gestures. So inventing you own will go a long way down the road.

Copy someone’s style. Oftentimes ladies rush into wardrobe shops trying order the same designer prom dresses as the ones they saw on the Red Carpet. This is wrong. Every celebrity has a stylist that develops their wardrobe based on personal factors that are unique to that specific celebrity. So unless you have similar traits as the celeb who’s dress you want to imitate(remember season types?), it is best try on a number of different dresses until you find the one that works for YOU!

Dye your hair. Tyra Banks’s Show tells girls they should be chameleons and to change their hair style and outfit as often as possible. But dying hair too much can ruin it. Of course today’s methods are less dangerous for the hair but still the damage to the structure of the hair can be sever down the line. If you find a color that works for you, follow it. Rita Hayworth couldn’t be Rita Hayworth if she changed her red color to blonde or brunette. So if you really found your personal hair color then keep it and try doing your best to hold on to it.

Some fabulous maids became popular and famous because they changed. But the real reason for their fame is their personality. If you do not like what you see in photos of yourself or in the mirror then you should change. Otherwise your best bet is to improve your character, manners and enhance the natural look within you.

You will feel when a chance is necessary…
